Two candidates filed on Monday as Republicans in the first day of qualifying for the special election on Nov. 3 to fill Post 3 on the Oconee County Board of Commissioners.
Amrey Harden, who had announced his plans to run for the open spot, filed, as did Aaron Nowak, a newcomer who had not previously indicated his plans to seek the open slot in the non-primaried special election on Nov. 3.
