Rolling Average Of Added COVID-19 Cases Up Slightly In Northeast Health District On Saturday; Three Deaths From Disease Reported

***COVID Patients At Area Hospitals Increased***

With the listing of 298 new cases of COVID-19 in the Department of Public Health Daily Status Report on Saturday, the seven-day rolling average of added cases in the Northeast Health District increased to 380.9, up just slightly from the 379.4 average of Friday.

The 10-county Northeast Health District also added three deaths, including one in Clarke County, and the seven-day rolling average of added deaths in the District increased to 1.7 on Saturday from 1.3 on Friday.

The Clarke County deaths was of a woman aged 90-plus without a chronic condition. The other deaths were of a 78-year-old female in Barrow County with a chronic condition and of an 80-year-old male in Jackson County without a chronic condition.

Clarke County now has 59 deaths attributed to COVID-19, Barrow County has 62, and Jackson County has 57. The 10-county District as a whole has 382.

Oconee County added 13 cases of COVID-19 in the Saturday Daily Status Report, and Clarke County added 62. The seven-day rolling average of added cases increased to 27.3 in Oconee County from 27.0 on Friday. In Clarke County, the seven-day rolling average decreased from 69.4 to 68.7. (This is a correction for the original post, which included a data entry error. I apologize for the error.)

After a three day absence, links to data from the Georgia Hospital Association (GHA) and the Georgia Emergency Management Agency (GEMA) appeared again on Saturday on the Department of Public Health web site.

GHA and GEMA reported on Saturday that the number of COVID-19 patients at area hospitals (153) increased by four from the day before, that the number of ICU beds in use (66) was the same as the day before, and that the number of adult ventilators in use (35) increased by three from the day before.

The number of COVID-19 patients had been 173 on Dec. 14, the largest number ever reported for Region E, which includes the 10 counties of the Northeast Health District plus Franklin and Hart counties.

Oconee County schools are not in session, but administrators at the schools continue to notify parents of cases among the school populations.

Just after noon on Saturday, Kevin Yancey, principal at Oconee County High School, sent a notice to parents that “two individuals in our school” tested positive for COVID-19.

At 6:37 p.m. on Saturday, Jennifer Haygood, principal at Malcom Bridge Elementary School, sent parents an email saying that “an individual in our school” tested positive.

State Data

The Daily Status Report on Saturday listed 4,298 new confirmed COVID-19 cases based on molecular tests and an additional 1,731 cases based on antigen tests. The total 6,029 new cases resulted in a seven-day rolling average of 6,563.1 cases per day, down from 6,654.0 on Friday.

The Department of Public Health added 40 deaths across the state attributed to COVID-19 in the Saturday Daily Status Report, and the seven-day rolling average of added deaths increased to 33.6 from 32.1 on Friday.

Thirty of those deaths were in the last 14 days, and the seven-day rolling average of added deaths dated by day of occurrence increased on Saturday, as it has the last three days.

The state eliminated one death previously recorded and attributed to COVID-19, and it also added 10 “probable deaths,” or deaths likely due to COVID-19. The seven-day rolling average of added “probable deaths” was 10.7 on Saturday, down from 11.4 on Friday.

It is possible to reconstruct the data for Region E for the three days that the reports of the the Georgia Hospital Association (GHA) and the Georgia Emergency Management Agency (GEMA) were not available.

It is not possible to do that at the state level because of the way the state rounds the data points.

GHA and GEMA reported on Saturday that the number of COVID-19 patients (3,343) increased from Dec. 15, the number of ICU beds in use (2,538) increased from Dec. 15, and the number of adult ventilators in use (1,273) increased from Dec. 15.

The number of COVID-19 patients is the highest ever reported since the data were first made available on May 1. (It is possible to see from the chart on the GHA/GMA site that the number for the missing days is lower than for Saturday.)

The Department of Community Health does not issue its Long-Term Care Facility Report on the weekends.

Towards the end of each year, I like to look back on events that happened throughout the year. And 2020 has been a heck of a year. The purpose of my writing is to vent my concerns, inspire more research and reflection on what’s happening, question everything the government recommends to us, and encourage others to keep fighting for our American freedoms!

I am alarmed that our American liberties are slowly being stripped in the name of “health and safety.” The political agenda for Covid-19 appears to be about compliance and control, rather than health and safety. I am also bothered by the NE GA Health district reports on Covid-cases, deaths, and active cases, which may be skewed numbers.

A recent article was published by the National Vaccine Information Center, (originally published in January) titled "PCR Test for Coronavirus questioned by prominent scientists". In the article, the authors stated, "Our conclusion is supported by the fact that a tremendous number of very serious design flaws were found by us, which make the PCR test completely unsuitable as a diagnostic tool to identify the SARS-CoV-2 virus. " If this is true, then inaccurate testing means inaccurate reported numbers of Covid-19 cases and deaths, and no justification to declare a state of emergency. Is the Covid-19 virus more deadly than other viruses? The CDC has posted that US deaths have remained the same the past three years despite Covid-19.

I have been called a selfish and thoughtless individual who doesn’t follow the science or the rules. People do get sick and I am sorry when anyone suffers. Like many aspects of life, Americans can access the risk and make their own decisions. Virus information is constantly changing, which leads many to wonder what to believe.

Many medical doctors concur that healthy people (asymptomatic) have an extremely low to non-existent spread, and even Dr. Fauci stated “even if there’s a rare asymptomatic person that might transmit, an epidemic is not driven by asymptomatic carriers.” Lockdowns, curfews, quarantining, mask mandates, testing, and tracing are unnecessary, unhealthy (ironic), unconstitutional, and not effective in stopping the spread of Covid-19. However, these restrictions have been successfully detrimental to our economy, education, social life, and our mental and physical health. Our medical freedoms, religious freedoms, free speech, and our fair election process have all been compromised during this time. The government continues to create a crisis when there is none.

Perhaps the “pandemic” is one part of a deeper, more nefarious agenda. On October 25, Archbishop Carlo Maria ViganĂ² wrote an open letter to our President. Here are a few excerpts from that letter.

“Mr. President, I imagine that you are already aware that in some countries the Great Reset will be activated between the end of this year and the first trimester of 2021. For this purpose, further lockdowns are planned, which will be officially justified by a supposed second and third wave of the pandemic.”

“This Great Reset is destined to fail because those who planned it do not understand that there are still people ready to take to the streets to defend their rights, to protect their loved ones, to give a future to their children and grandchildren. The leveling inhumanity of the globalist project will shatter miserably in the face of the firm and courageous opposition of the children of Light.”

Already, there is word that health passports are being implemented in Europe. This scene is becoming reality and it makes me anxious. But I am encouraged by this letter and by those Americans with a 1776 spirit! Keep fighting for truth and justice. I do hope everyone has a Merry Christmas with lots of family, friends, hugs, indoor dining, outdoor dining, and whatever the heck you choose to do!
